STORY :

REVIEW : 

In the last snapshots of Lipstick Under My Burkha, as the four heroes face the unstable results of their apparent uprisings, we hear fireworks rushing behind the scenes. Chief Alankrita Shrivastava utilizes the setting of Diwali to let us know that the existences of these ladies might be disintegrating, yet they'll exit with an extravagant flair.

While cinematographer Akshay Singh utilizes tight close-ups in squeezed spaces to make you claustrophobic, Gazal Dhaliwal's lines range from diverting allusions in dingy books to abnormal eruptions of baffled ladies. 

A line from Zebunnisa Bangash-Anvita Dutt's all around set melody Le Li Jaan goes, "12 takke byaaj pe, hassi hai udhar ki," and the thought of this burdened autonomy is the thing that characterizes the film impeccably.
